Elisheva Reese is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of diverse healthcare experience. A graduate of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), Elisheva has made significant contributions across various fields of medicine, including intensive care, internal medicine, cardiology, ophthalmology, and obesity medicine.In addition to her clinical practice, Elisheva has a robust academic background as an Adjunct Professor at the School of Nursing, where she educates and mentors nursing and nurse practitioner students.

Her dedication to education and mentorship has been recognized with the Preceptor of the Year Award.As a Sub-Investigator for clinical trials, Elisheva collaborates with Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) and pharmaceutical companies to facilitate access to innovative medications and contribute to the development of FDA-approved treatments. Her involvement in clinical research on emerging weight loss medications has been instrumental in advancing patient care and expanding treatment options.Elisheva is also deeply committed to community engagement. She actively participates in outreach initiatives, providing essential healthcare services to underserved communities. Her leadership extends to serving as a Medical Director for a company specializing in patient transitions from hospital to home, where she supported seamless patient care transitions. Additionally, her exceptional care and proactive approach led to a significant increase in patient volume in her clinical practice. Elisheva also played a crucial role in establishing both a primary care clinic and a research site in Memphis, demonstrating her initiative and commitment. Her passion for her work drives growth and success across all her projects.

With a focused interest in obesity medicine over the past eight years, Elisheva has worked extensively with patients to manage and treat obesity-related conditions. She employs a collaborative approach in developing treatment plans, ensuring that each patient’s unique needs and values are respected and incorporated into their care. Driven by a genuine desire to improve lives and address frustrations with the current healthcare system, Elisheva founded her own practice to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
